Back Pain Down The Drain - Introduction

Posted in Uncategorized

This is a record of my personal experiences in trying to understand, avoid, control and treat the low back pain which I have suffered from, like many, over a 25 year period.

Because I am not a Doctor or a Medical Practitioner of any kind I cannot offer any medical advice. I am in fact an Engineering Manager working for a UK Telecommunications Company.

However, I can share with you the knowledge of the spinal physiology, anatomy, low back pain causes, treatments and other information that I have gained through personal practical experience and research.

Back pain can be symptomatic of a multitude of causes. Fortunately, most of these are not serious and rarely require surgical intervention.

However, you should always consult a qualified Medical Practitioner for any back pain which persists for more than a few days, or which doesn’t respond favourably to ‘over-the-counter’ pain medication.
